The New Year is here and my first design is being released today. How about a Round Tuit Coffee Mug Wrap designed for the procrastinator in you? This time of year is kind of dreaded by a lot of people isn't it? There are a lot of things ending and life slows to a crawl for celebrations. Then the normal get back to work tasks creep back in. The hardest part is getting started. So I designed this mug wrap to remind myself that I will "Get Around To It"
I am a hot beverage lover and real coffee mugs are necessary in my opinion. It is truly a small pleasure that I indulge in daily. There is something so decadent in sitting quietly with a warm mug enveloped in a quilted wrap. I chose a floral fabric for this wrap and the quilting looks so pretty. I look forward to using it on my favorite pink mug.
This project has some applique in it so small pieces in your stash can be used up. The design will require at least a 6x10 hoop and the entire wrap will be completed in one hooping except for a small opening to turn.
The text is really cute and simple. I think the sky is the limit with color choices in fabric and thread.
A button finishes everything off. If you are like me, you probably have a lot of buttons in your stash that need a project home.
